Here are three shots of today's construction at Rockaway Road.

The old bridge over the Lackawanna is being removed - slowly.  Two new
catenary bridges were required, as wire had been supported from the bridge
itself.  The north approach span has finally been removed, along with the
concrete encasing the steel girders.  The floor is nowb being removed. 
Unfortunately, my camera decided to focus on the billboard in the right of
the third shot.

Workers are beginning to set up forms for the north abutment.

Job is supposed to take most of this year...
