(erielack) More on forthcoming Morning Sun EL book...

A synopsis:

"Bill Brennan is a 60-something Cedar Grove resident who has always had a fascination with EL. Having lived in North Arlington, he was surrounded by the EL and commuted on it to both Stevens in Hoboken and later his job in NY.

In the book Bill covers all the EL New Jersey commuter operation zone prior to the U34CH/Pullman Std. car introduction. In addition to the lines which still have service today, there are chapters on long-gone service like the Northern, Newark, and Caldwell branches, the western end of the Greenwood Lake, and the former Erie main through Passaic. Bill is noted for spectacular night photography and there's plenty of it in this book. A little freight and ferries too."
