(erielack) DL&W on the Nickel Plate

Since the ELDCPS received the Nickel Plate Road sleeping car "City of Lima", 
I have been talking with a lot of NKP fans and former employees.  One person 
who grew up near Cleveland has told me that several times after the 
Lackawanna took delivery of its E-8's, they ran through on NKP passenger 
trains as far as Cleveland!  Has anyone else ever heard this?  Are there any 
pictures out there?
