	Correct, Transfer trains power Passenger and
passenger equipment was turned and serviced at 51st
street yard on the C&WI ( as C&WI was 1/5th owned by
the ERIE R.R.) as well as all others that cam in and
out of Dearborn Station. The roundhouse was closer to
47th street on the north side of the yard. Power was
either cut off at 47th street and the train was pushed
into Dearborn or pulled in and then backed down to the
yard for service and turning. There was also reserve
power stationed there to get a train to Hammond for
regular power if there was a problem which would
return on a transfer run later.
