Not really list content, except the man who asked has just produced some
FANTASTIC Dunmore caboose kits, and others have chimed in, so here's my
answer:
Yes to Kadees; the only #58's I have came on some Kadee boxcars; the
original head (#5 style) has always been fine by me.
I do NOT like the newer Kadee rip-offs, I mean, um, copies, especially the
ones with the plastic tab-type knuckle spring, since when those cars
equipped with such couplers are parked on a grade, under compression, they
retain that shape for a while and the knuckles don't close properly. Very
annoying when everything else on your pike operates perfectly... They do
re-form to their original shape after some time, but those are being phased
out on MY railroad...
