Re: (erielack) How times have changed



That is one thing that I will give Conrail credit for - or at least
the crew that ran switching detail at Greycourt.  They were
accomodating to railfans in the area.  

One old-timer, named Pete, would often let me and my grandfather
aboard with him when he was running his yard detail and would answer
every little question I had.  (Being that I was about eight years old
at the time - that was quite a lot of questions...  If only I could
remember them... ;)  Honestly, if it wasn't for Pete, I would not
have had the interest in railroading that I currently have.

Everything has turned into such a liability issue since we, as a
country, have become so lawsuit happy.  It is definately sad.
