Smiley still exists.  I don't recall who has him, but he belongs to an ELHS
member, who brought him to a meeting some years ago.  He was still smilin'
and in pretty good condition.  Better than most of us will be (or are) at
his age . . .

Whatever happened to Smiley, the Erie doll used to promote the Erie's
freight service?  He did appear in a few early EL ads then disappeared.
Did he just get thrown out or did someone take him home for safe keeping?
