The NY&GL has, however, announced their proposal to run passenger shuttle
trains between Glen Ridge, NJ (where NY&GL owns the station there and uses
it as their office) and Hoboken, NJ - if they succeed, they will fulfill
their name once again. (The portion between Glen Ridge and West End is all
former Erie/EL, nee-NY&GL, and is slated to be "railbanked" once the
Montclair Connection goes in place, hence this proposed passenger shuttle)
