You might also want to check out Revelation's "Before the Hyphen", a
"prequel" to "The Friendly Service Route", which covers the Erie and DL&W
mostly before the merger, but also for a few years after. It has some nice
scenes in Olean and on the BSW, as well as Randolph, Kennedy, Jamestown,
Hornell and Buffalo. It may be a little before the time you're looking for,
but the stuff, as I remember it-I haven't watched the tape in a while-is
pretty good. The narration is a bit better than in the first tape, on which
he sounded somewhat sedated.
