Ken wrote that his museum has a GP7 with "... a surface mount Mars light on the short nose..." Erie's first two, 1200 and 1201, came with surface-mounted headlights. Is this a real historical gem hiding at the museum? What's its heritage?
Other roads did that, too. WP and SP spring to mind. But the thought of an original Erie GP7 . . . wow! Wouldn't it be wonderful?
