Quite right Bill.  The CNY NRHS book shows a E8 on the table in Syracuse, 
I'm sure they did the same with steam and F3s and other diesels, although 
sometimes the F3s were A-A so they didn't need a spin.  I would like to know 
when that table was removed, I remember seeing one in Syracuse, either on 
the old EL or NYC, I was born in 1979 if that helps at all.  The roundhouse 
at Syracuse burned in 1977 I believe.  I have been meaning to get pictures 
of the Utica table, NYSW did some work on it but I don't think they ever got 
it going.
