	After PC was formed CB&Q Power would disapear for
weeks on the run through train on the maintenence
lacking and power short PC and when they did come back
the power was lacking in maintenence and with empty
fuel tanks. On more than one occasion two or three
units would be dead in tow and with only one
locomotive with enough fuel to get hem back to clyde
yard. So the CB&Q started running the the pool power
on the EL and recieved much better care of the
locomotives. Though you rarely saw EL power on the Q ,
Red and Gray Q units were frequently seen on the EL.
