Re: (erielack) fake Erie caboose

When I was driving for JB Hunt, we had a drop yard behind Main Tire on
Broadway(NY 130) in Cheektowaga, and I used to get there by taking Walden Av
from the Thruway to Union Road to Broadway, and went past that caboose many
times. I always thought it looked a little odd, not like any Erie or EL hack
I ever saw(not like I'm an expert on the subject), but I dismissed it as a
case of "we got a caboose, and we painted it for our favorite local road".
I always meant to stop in and ask about it, but usually got through there in
the middle of the night, or didn't have time to stop. Interesting to hear
the full story after seeing it for so long.
