On the lines of "excitement over MOW equipment," let me add my two cents:

I was VERY happy when Walthers released their scale test car and Russell
snowplow (scale car correct for EL/Erie/DL&W, plow correct for EL/DL&W). I
wish someone would make an EL-variety Jordan spreader, too!

MOW equipment may not be purchased in large quantity, but adds spice to a
layout. I know that a yard or enginehouse facility would be fairly plain
without at least one piece of MOW equipment nearby (and that could even be a
converted heavyweight diner, too!)
