Not many, but for operating sessions, variety is everything. How about
dispatching a wreck train out? Or a "plow train" special clearing the line?
Obviously, not something that would happen often, but something that raises
interest when it does happen.

To that degree, Walthers has done a good job with their powered American
crane (good for EL, too). Kibri, a German manufacturer, released an HO scale
crane that is COMPLETELY controllable through DCC - raising the book, hook,
rotation - the works! The crane is also fairly close for an EL 03300-series
crane, too...
