As has been discussed before on this list, the EL's larger diesels (notably
the SD45s and their variants) has "low profile" rooftop accessories, such as
fans and filter dust bins. But I've come across a few photos of units with
high replacement fans on George Elwood's site:

Were they restricted from running at certain locations? Or were the
locations that drove the "low profile" requirements (the Cleveland
"tunnels") fixed to accommodate the high-fan units?
Also, the ex-D&H 801-802-803 had high fans... were these units restricted in
where they could run?
