Dear Bill and Group,

A number of A1A-A1A Alco RSC3 variants served (or may still be in
service) on Portuguese Railways (CP); not sure if these also operated in
Spain, but RENFE did have quite a fleet of Alcos in active service until
just a few years ago.  I know that at least one Alco double-ended cab
unit is used by the National Railway Museum in Madrid on excursion
trains.
