(erielack) December calendar photo

Time for my usual griping. ;)

The December calendar shot is actually pretty nice, though the lead unit is
slightly blurred. A nice winter shot of GP35 2576 and SDP45 3652.

Gripes?

The caption! (what else?) Let's see:

1) SDP45 is misspelled "SPD45"
2) "One of EL's 19 SPD45's" - last time I checked, there are 34 units in the
series 3635-3668, aren't there?
3) Was the SDP45 really "developed by EMD as potential passenger power?" I
thought it was just a simple solution provided to SP to meet there
requirements? The EL unit was really just an elongated SD45 for the bigger
fuel tank (heck, it uses the same body all the way back to that 5' plain
hood section at the rear of the body), and was even classed an "SD45M" by
EMD!

Humph. :)
