(erielack) New rail for the Boonton Line?

Looks like new replacement rail is being put down on
the Boonton line.  I thought I saw a work train a
couple of Sundays ago, but now I'm positive....

I stopped across from the Towaco station this evening
for an ice cream and checked out the long strands of
new rail on both sides of the existing track. 

Does anyone know when this replacement work will
actually take place?  Seems like it might make a good
photo op.
