Dont know about the Mansfield-Ashland stuff....

But the line you are referring to that parallels the I-90...it was the
LV...the PRR and the LV ran side by side right around the area of the
Lackawanna Toll plaza in West Seneca....the PRR Buffalo line came in at an
angle and the LV "joined" it at this point.  As you continued West on I90
you also passed under the Buffalo & Pittsburgh (former B&O Buffalo
Division)...the Thruway Authority in their infinite wisdom even has a sign
on the overpass that says "B&O RR" and just west of that you went over the
Buffalo Southern RR (which uses the Erie's Buffalo and
Southwestern--required list content)
