(erielack) Lehigh & Hudson River freight house

If anyone has access to the Star-Gazette newspaper in Hackettstown, there=

is a nice article in today's issue about the effort to preserve and resto=
re
the L&HR freight house in Allamuchy, NJ.  At one time there were two
creameries at this location.  Apparently the Lackawanna took most of this=

business from the L&HR in the late 1920's by lowering rates from Greendel=
l
on the Cutoff.
