Service Alert

 July 4th

 06/20/00 

 Norfolk Southern will curtail operations for 24 hours, beginning 7:00 AM,
Tuesday, July 4th, in
 observance of the July 4th Holiday. Local, yard, and road operations will
be suspended to the
 extent possible, except as necessary to meet service commitments, local
customer
 requirements, and specific customer production requirements. Terminal and
Division
 Superintendents will make determination of required operations. For more
specific
 information, please contact your Norfolk Southern representative.
