(erielack) ABPR Wanaque-Midvale Pix

I always thought the one order board on the Wanaque-Midvale 
station was unique.  I suppose it had two when the line extended to 
Ringwood and Greenwood Lake.  The operator probably blocked 
with Pompton Plains.  Even before the passenger service  was 
cancelled, the agent/operator was discontinued here.  I remember 
some protests in the local papers when EL announced plans to close 
the station.  There was a report about the number of times during 
the year, that this operator actually had to control train movements.  
It wasn't very much.
