I met with a fellow tonight at Ken's Trackside (Dover) in the bulk mail 
field, and his wife recalled as a child going on a class trip aboard the 
Phoebe Snow.  She recalled the class being led into the diner for lunch and 
being given the tour. She recalled the tables being very well apointed, with 
flowers, and after lunch they were shown the galleys. Then, they were all 
taken to one end of the dining room and were told by one of the dining car 
crew about the who and the legend of Pheobe Snow.  She recalled being very 
impressed by all of this.  She didn't remember the food, but remembered that 
it was very tasty.
