Re: (erielack) LESLIE-5



On page 21 of EL in Color, Vol. 4, included in the caption of the picture of
812, is the comment that, "An item modified on all the ex-DL&W E8's was the
horn: the original Lackawanna configuration of a bracketed pair of one
Leslie A-125LP and one A-200LP facing forward, with a freestanding A-125LP
facing rearward, was replaced with the Erie E8 standard Leslie S3R."

BTW, what has happened with the diesel horn project for our 2nd generation
model power (SD-45's, etc.)?
