(erielack) EL Ghost Train!

It looked like the Erie Lackawanna returned to Croxton today! Norfolk
Southern operated a ballast train of 90% solid EL hoppers for the new yard
west of County Road. One 70 ton 32000 series Hopper stood out in the long
train, it was slightly taller than the rest of the cars and lacked the
yellow stripe's, it also still retained its friction bearing trucks. The EL
hoppers were built in 1974 but this car was built by Greenville in 1965.
Oh, the Penn Central fans out there will be happy to know a "mint" example
of a PC Hopper car sat right in the middle of the EL train. Even 23 years
after the merger PC manages to ruin a good thing :-(
