(erielack) More SDP45 sightings

Hi Gang:

Based on data from the list below, it appears the UP/SP owns 6 former SDP45s. 
 

I previously reported sighting SP4692 in Carson CA last Friday.  Imagine my 
surprise at spotting SP4696 on an EB transfer move yesterday 5/18, and then 
minutes later seeing SP4694 on the ready track at Long Beach/Carson Dolores 
yard.

I suspect that the UP has assigned these units to the Los Angeles area for 
operations.

While these units have 16 cylinder 645 engines, it was interesting to observe 
that 4696 had a much deeper growl and less turbo whine than the UP SD40-2 
that it was mated with.
