Re: (erielack) Railroad Pension



Workers subject to RRTA were exempt from Social security withholding and 
accordingly not entitled to benefits.  At some point in the 70's they, along
with gov't and postal workers who were also not subject became subject.  
Therefore, your mother's recollection is correct.
