I couldn't agree with you more. The paint / letting and designs are all right on. I like both the black / yellow and the two tone green and would have to give a slight preference to the green scheme. The both locos run well, although I don't think they run quite as well as the E8's. I see Life-Like announced an EL scheme for September delivery ( with a surprising duplication of #857, which will make it hard to run a early merger lashup of the EL and Erie black schemes together!). I'll have to get my order for the GYM EL's in soon. Life-Like's done an excellent job again and encourage everyone with an interest in Erie passenger units to consider a purchse. How about a DLW Trainmaster, or better yet an EL SDP45 or an SD45-2 in the near future? Unfortuneatly, the potential market for these units (except possibly the Trainmaster) will be somewhat small and may not justify a production run for them due to the extremely limited acceptance by the prototype when the units were introduced. - -Chris Thurner - ---------- > From: Paul R.
