Re: (erielack) Life-Like Erie PA's in black/yellow

I couldn't agree with you more. The paint / letting and designs are all
right on. I like both the black / yellow and the two tone green and would
have to give a slight preference to the green scheme. The both locos run
well, although I don't think they run quite as well as the E8's. I see
Life-Like announced an EL scheme for September delivery ( with a surprising
duplication of #857, which will make it hard to run a early merger lashup
of the EL and Erie black schemes together!). I'll have to get my order for
the GYM EL's in soon.

Life-Like's done an excellent job again and encourage everyone with an
interest in Erie passenger units to consider a purchse.

How about a DLW Trainmaster, or better yet an EL SDP45 or an SD45-2 in the
near future? Unfortuneatly, the potential market for these units (except
possibly the Trainmaster) will be somewhat small and may not justify a
production run for them due to the extremely limited acceptance by the
prototype when the units were introduced.
