Position-light dwarf signals are shown as blocks containing light markers. Each vertical column of color-light markers makes up one possible signal configuration; the taller ones are high signals and the shorter ones represent dwarf signals. Color light heads may be three-light or searchlight type; meanings conveyed by either type are the same. Except for Rule 285-A, semaphore signals are treated as if they were color-light signals. ============================================================================== Reference: Norfolk Southern Lake Division ETT #2, 3/29/92 ============================================================================== Transcribed by Richard Hosker 2/7/94 ==============================================================================
