From: "Ted Lemen" hi_jeanx -AT- yahoo -DOT- com Date: Wed Feb 2 21:57:17 2011 Subject: Just after leaving Louisville KY with Southern 401 loaded up on SOU 50901 enroute E. St. Louis, our standing train, waiting on a siding for clearance, was hit head-on by another train that split a snow-packed switch. We waited for the better part of a day for the crews to clear the resulting derailment and repair the tracks. image/jpeg, 1294x835 (24bit) 40105.jpg |
