For more information on this train see photos "CP3084_1 to _8" further down the list. Locomotive 4106 is a FP9A built by GMD as CN FP9A #6515 in 1957. It was sold to VIA in 1978 and became VIA #6515. Then remanufactured in Montreal in 1984 and renumbered to VIA #6307. Subsequently sold to Ohio Central in 2002, then acquired by CP for it's Royal Canadian Pacific train service in 2006 and repainted in the Maroon/Grey "Script" paint scheme at NRE, Capreol, ON in April 2007. CP4106 replaces CP4101. Unit 3084 is a GP38-2. This photo taken at mile 68 on the Laggan Sub on September 27/07. image/jpeg, 1158x916 (24bit)
