Subject: This photo of the Royal Canadian Pacific was taken along mile 97 of the Crowsnest Sub. This is where the train crosses under Highway #3 before entering Sentinel on its way to Coleman, AB. The red locomotive, CP3131 is a last minute substitution for CP4101 which, according to one of the train personnel, "met an untimely death". It will take approximately one month to replace it with another locomotive painted in the classic maroon-and-gray-with-yellow stripes livery of the 1960s.
