Subject: Great Western 64XX class pannier tank, number 6412, with a 'local' train about to leave Winchcombe station on the Gloucestershire and Warwickshire Railway, 24 May 2003, rain pending. The 64XX class were built for working 'auto trains'. Short trains used on branch lines, where the driver had a set of remote controls at the rear end of the train, thus allowing it to be driven both ways without the need to 'run round' at remote stations.
