    Subject: "SECOND LAST RUN" Car 972 was the last car on Canal St. in 1964 and here it is once again shown on the Canal line in early 2009.
    Hurricane Katrina flooded our homemade cars, so the older Perley Thomas cars came to the rescue and returned to Canal St. in 2006 and were in service until the red heritage cars were repaired and returned in early 2009.
    This was the last time I saw the 972 in service, so I call it the "SECOND LAST RUN"
