    Subject: Alaska Railroad's Glacier Discovery Train slows to pick up 26 rafters from the waters of a creek created from the Spencer Glacier ice melt. The train was powered by ARR's 3010, a GP 40-2. While summer was just days away, it was 52 degrees and wet on Father's Day 2006 (6/18/06).
