Needless to say, the trains can no more than 25 MPH, but it allows for some great photos. CSX 5306, a General Electric ES44DC locomotives, leads the train.
CSX 5306 is powered by the Evolution Series standard DC-driven 12 cylinder GEVO 4,400hp engine, and a reduction in emissions allows them to comply with the EPA's Tier II emissions rules, which went into effect in 2005. The 12 cylinder design also requires less fuel than previous models, allowing foradditional cost savings. The second unit was GATX 5359, SD 40-2. Some pictures of the intermodal units are also included. image/jpeg, 640x480 (24bit)
