The DDM45MPīs are rebuilt DDM45īs in a project from the 1980īs to repower the fleet. The cost of the project were high , so CVRD stopped it and not many units were rebuilt. The locos were renumbered in the 1800īs serie, just adding number "1" before the normal number of the loco. The BB40T-2īs are ex-SP and DRGW SD40T-2īs rebuilt by CVRD to FCA to fit on meter gauge lines. These are the longest diesel units in Brazil nowadays, with 26 meter long.
