CPR refers to this section of track as "Beavermouth". This is where the Beaver River empties into the Columbia Reach, which is on the southern end of Kinbasket Lake. The background ridge is part of the Blackwater range of the Rocky Mountains.

Subject: This is a potash unit train, lead by CP9605. Two more CPR AC4400CW's were inserted in the middle of the train. All three units were completely shut down when I saw them again three days later. This train had not moved from this siding at Ernfold, Saskatchewan. Photo taken September 1/05, from my CPR photo collection.

Subject: A colourful, four locomotive consist, northbound near Champion, AB on the Aldersyde Sub, on June 7/04, lead by CP9605 (red), with CEFX7116 (green), UP's CEFX2796 (yellow) and UP6403 (still in Southern Pacific black).

Subject: This westbound unit grain train was tied down at mile 138 (near Dunmore, AB) on the Maple Creek Subdivision. CP9597, an AC4400CW, will be leading, with CP6049, an SD40-2 and UP7031, another AC4400CW following. October 5/06.
