Subject: DL 1044, an immaculately kept Alco S6 switcher does its chores on the shortline DLWR after just crossing Harvester ave in Batavia ny. This engine was bought used from another railroad by the Delaware Lackawana, and despite the reporting remarks, is labled for the Shortline parent GVT. The unit is assigned currently as the main engine, along with RS18 DLWR 1801 as a spare, on the Depew, Lancaster and Western Batavia ny Divison.
