- - JaneNicholson has used her beautifully renovated DAR station at Annapolis
Royal, Nova Scotia for office space.
- - Bob Bona has used the renovated CNR station in Elmsdale Nova Scotia for a
headquarters for a teen support group, and is seeking tenants for the
downstairs space.
- - The Hank Snow Society in Liverpool NS has used the town's railway station
as a museum dedicated to the former country music superstar.
- - The Antigonish Heritage Society has used that town's old station as a
local heritage centre.
- - The Middleton NS DAR station has been preserved and used as a support
centre for the mentally challenged.
- - The Pugwash NS railway station has been used as a library, and is about to
be expanded for a local heritage centre on the adjoining grounds.
- - The former H&SW station at French Village NS is now used as a coffee shop
and bicycle repair centre for those who use the old railbed as a trail.
Where there is a wil, there is always a way.
