(rshsdepot) July Fan Trip
- Subject: (rshsdepot) July Fan Trip

Here is your chance to ride on CNE rails.
Because of the low response to the 11 July possible fan trip,
we have been forced to change the date to 18 July at 4:30 PM.
The CNERR will be running two excursions on July 18 for the
MBRRE. The equipment will be available during that time
for the additional trip on Saturday afternoon July 18.
This will be the third trip on that date. The trip would start from
Hartford Union Station at 4:30 PM and pass through Blue Hills,
Cottage Grove and Bloomfield to Griffins and return.
The fare would be $35.
If you would be interested in this trip, send a check to:
The Central New England RR
44 Cedar Ridge Rd.
Newington, CT, 06111
You can also pay at the gate in Hartford on 18 July.

Below is a description of the planned trips.
************************************************************************
Ride on the rails of the Central New England Railroad's
Griffins Industrial Track from Hartford, Connecticut to Griffins. This 8.7-mile line
is one of the few surviving parts of the Central New England Railway that ran from
Hartford and Springfield across northern Connecticut through Canaan, CT to
Maybrook, New York, crossing the Hudson River on the famed Poughkeepsie
Bridge. Acquired by the current Central New England Railroad in 1999, the line
now serves a Home Depot distribution center in Griffins.
Subject to safety and operating considerations, we expect to make
at least one photo stop during each trip departing from Hartford CT.
Our train will consist of cars leased from the Morristown & Erie Railroad,
including a table car and a coach.
There will be no food or beverage service aboard these trains.
Passengers may bring their own food on board if they wish.
