Firefighter hurt in blaze at old Newburgh railroad station

CITY OF NEWBURGH — A fire at the old railroad station caused heavy  damage to 
the building and left one firefighter with minor injuries.

The City of Newburgh Fire Department was called at 8:15 p.m. Saturday  to 27 
Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. There was heavy fire in one-third of the  
building, which is vacant. The firefighters called for a second alarm, and the  blaze 
was contained. One firefighter received minor injuries. The cause is under  
investigation.
