Re: (rshsdepot) Depot Architecture

A photo of the Waco station might be helpful here. It may have
resembled the extant DL&W station (built around 1904) in Binghamton,
NY.

Hi Adrian & others

Noticed your page under development re unknown architects etc.

I am still searching for architet name of 'Union Station' (owned by
Cotton Belt RR) in Waco TX.

This station was of Italianate design and was built in 1905/06 and
opened in late June 1906. I & GN also started to use a month later.

Depot was destroyed in the 1953 'Waco Tornado' .

This single story depot had slate roof and of brick construction and
had a tall tower.

Who were some of the likely architects ?

Thanks

Charlie Harris
