Thanks. I must go back and take pictures, nearby is an old caboose with, it seems, no markings.
At Wadsworth, it wasn't still active, correct? I am trying to locate any publications from Wadsworth and the other forts (bases) around this area. Only those at Fort Monmouth still seem to exist, they have them back from the 40s on. Others seem not to be saved as they were not official government issue. Odd I think as military saves everything else. What would be more informative of base history than these periodicals put out by the officers and enlisted men? Anyway do you know anything of these.
