But no matter wht the plans it can't be like rebuilding Penn Station, the Post Office has far less architectural glamour, it was meant to be an architectral adjunct to he unbelievable Penn Station. It won't be as tall, not nearly as spacious, no way tehya re building the roof the way it was, the stairs to platforms the way it was nor is it possible to build the interior space as massive...and the usual pedestrian and in my opinion incongrious modern glass mess is going in above the concourse or whatever they are building. What they plan is hardly the old Penn Station at all. I say if the Madison Square Garden is moving rebuild the original where it originally was, not some ersatz nonsense over on the east side
