Re: (rshsdepot) Re: Fwd: (erielack) Barberton, Ohio station on the move?

I asked a friend in the Akron area what he knew about it and he sent me this
link: http://www.southsummitchamber.org/documents/ChamberNewsletterMay2007.pdf

In that Barberton-South Summit Chamber of Commerce News it states:

"Blind & Sons, Inc. has been a in business for 70 years, they specialize in
heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical work. Bill Blind is the third
generation to make this business successful. Blind & Sons, Inc. started on 2nd
street in 1937 by his grandfather then the business later moved to its present
address of 344 Fourth Street N.W. in Barberton. Traffic was creating a problem
so they recently started to expand their parking lot, and is building several
new buildings for a service bay, a garage to house 45 trucks so they can be
more efficient. They are also moving the historic depot in May to make room
for the expansion. Blind & Sons hours are convenient, you can call 24 hours a
day, seven days a week and there will always be someone to help you. Special
thanks to other organizations who have helped make this expansion possible:
The Barberton Community Foundation, and The City of Barberton, Mayor Randy
Hart and Larry Lallo who have made it possible for Blind & Sons, Inc. to stay
in Barberton. We congratulate Blind & Sons for their great achievement and
wish them continued success in the city of Barberton."

He didn't know what was to become of the depot after the move.
