Re: (rshsdepot) Major RR Terminals in the US before 1900

The CNJ station is NOT a science museum and I believe Providence Station is  
still standing.
 
Let's see.  Large Terminals I've visited that still stand as far  as I know, 
some of them are after 1900 though:
 
Galveston Tx,
Miami, Fl, Seaboard
Atlantic City, NJ
Los Angeles Union
Houston, Tx
Philadelphia, Reading
Hoboken, DL&W
Seattle, Union
Seattle, Milw.
Middletown, NY, NYO&W
Allentown,  CNJ
Scranton, CNJ
 
and lots of smaller depots at the end of the line...
