Re: (rshsdepot) Major RR Terminals in the US before 1900



I don't know of a site, but here are some:

Grand Central Station, Chicago, gone, now an empty lot
Dearborn Station, Chicago, headhouse remains, tracks and shed gone
Indianapolis Union Station, now closed, tracks used by Amtrak, NS
St. Louis Union Station, now a hotel, tracks mostly removed
Albany (NY) Union Station, now a bank headquarters, tracks gone
Harrisburg (PA) PRR station, now used by Amtrak, NS
Grand Central Depot, replaced by Grand Central Terminal in 1913
Atlanta (GA) Terminal Station, gone
Norfolk (VA) Terminal Station, gone
South Station, Boston (MA), still used by Amtrak
Providence Union Station (RI), gone
Camden Station, Baltimore (MD), now a sports museum
Mount Royal Station, Baltimore (MD), now an art school, tracks remain
Broad Street Station, Philadelphia (PA), gone, replaced by 30th St.
Sta
Reading Terminal, Philadelphia (PA), now a convention center space
B&P Station, Washington (DC), gone, replaced by Union Sta. in 1907

many more built after 1900 are still standing (Denver, KC, etc.)

Additionally of these stations I would like to know how many of them
