Only text, jpeg and gif files are accepted in list mail, all other types of
attachments are stripped from the email before it it is forwarded to list
members. Many people don't want files included in list mail so we archive jpeg
and gif files and replace them with the archived web link and text files
are just made into part of the list mail as if they were typed in the email. 

Other file types (such as zip or pdf or .doc) should be sent to individual
email addresses (when requested) and not to the entire list.
